The Gull Lake Triathlon is held at Ross Township Park, which is along East Gull Lake Drive in Kalamazoo County, Michigan. The park is adjacent to Michigan State University's Kellogg Biological Station. KBS assists with waterfront access for the swim course set up and monitoring team. You’ll find easy access from I-94 to M-89 which runs between Kalamazoo and Battle Creek. Accommodation links are below. The water in Gull Lake is incredibly clean, clear, and the swim course is weed free. Wave action may be non-existent, or potentially strong depending on wind conditions race morning. The Olympic bike course offers good road surfaces, rolling terrain on the back stretch and a nice view along Fine Lake. The sprint bike course is just plain flat and fast. The run course takes off from the park along East Gull Lake Drive to the north of the park. The sprint out and back is relatively flat save for a couple minor rollers.  The Olympic course proceeds past the sprint turnaround and includes one moderate uphill grade the way out.
